Abstract

The present article presents a data from a study that try to
systematize the experience of the Social Assistance Municipal Secretary of Londrina in the development and implementation of its Municipal System for Monitoring and Evaluation, highlighting the contributions of such a system in the process of policy management. Gives a brief historical review of Social Services in the country and in Londrina after the implementation of its Managing Agency to its reorganization to include the actions contemplated in the Social Assistance Unique System. Then, portrays the process of construction of the Municipal Monitoring and Evaluation and discusses its main features. Finally, make some conclusions about the importance of this system for the assistance policy in Londrina.
